Google's crime against human culture

  1. Fascinating. I agree that Google should be examined just as critically as other megalithic corporations. Much good has come from Google, I think, but the author brings up an excellent point: when we surf Google we are surfing GOOGLE's world, not the internet in general. This has tremendous implications for Google's ability to control/distort public knowledge. It is important that we as information consumers remain aware of this, both when surging Google and when using other ad-customized outlets such as Facebook.
